These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WallyMate mobile web application ("App") operated by CoreBit Labs, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using WallyMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
WallyMate is a lake navigation and information application for Lake Wallenpaupack, Pennsylvania. The App provides maps, points of interest, weather data, GPS navigation assistance, AI-generated recommendations, and optional Friends features for recreational boating and fishing. The App is intended as a supplemental planning and reference tool only.
WallyMate IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROPER NAUTICAL CHARTS, OFFICIAL NAVIGATIONAL AIDS, PROFESSIONAL SEAMANSHIP, OR SOUND JUDGMENT ON THE WATER.
The App's navigation features, hazard markers, depth information, and AI recommendations are provided for general informational purposes only. Water conditions, hazards, and lake features change constantly. You are solely responsible for your own safety and the safety of all persons aboard your vessel. Always:
THE COMPANY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY ACCIDENT, INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON THE APP FOR NAVIGATION OR SAFETY DECISIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY HARM ARISING FROM CONTACT WITH FLOATING DEBRIS, SUBMERGED HAZARDS, SHALLOW WATER, OR OTHER ON-WATER CONDITIONS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH CONDITIONS WERE OR WERE NOT REPORTED IN THE APP.
User-submitted reports (including hazard markers, debris reports, and water condition updates) are unverified and may be inaccurate, false, or outdated. The Company does not verify, endorse, or warrant the accuracy of any user-submitted content.
You must create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (d) submit false, misleading, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, privacy-invasive, or otherwise objectionable content; (e) impersonate another person; (f) use another person's location to stalk, harass, endanger, or violate their privacy; (g) use automated systems to access the App without permission; or (h) resell or commercially exploit App content without written consent.
Points of interest, business hours, dock availability, fuel availability, dock fees, restaurant operations, marina services, hazard locations, and other information in the App are provided by third parties and user contributions and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. We make no representations as to the accuracy or completeness of any information in the App. Business hours, services, and operational status are subject to change without notice — always contact establishments directly to confirm current information before relying on it. Always verify all critical information independently before acting on it.
By submitting reports, hazard markers, profile or boat information, moderation reports, or other content to the App, you represent that your submission complies with these Terms and, where it describes lake conditions, is accurate to the best of your knowledge. False or inaccurate safety reports may endanger other boaters. You grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and use your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, protect, and moderate the App.
You can report a friend from that person's friend-detail screen and can separately block that user. Blocking removes the friendship and prevents new friend requests until you unblock the user. We may review reports and associated account or profile information; remove or restrict content; warn, suspend, or terminate accounts; preserve relevant records; or take other reasonable action to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law. We aim to review safety and abuse concerns promptly, but do not guarantee a particular outcome or response time. Knowingly false or abusive reports may themselves violate these Terms.
The App includes an AI assistant ("Wally") that generates recommendations based on weather, location, and lake data. AI-generated responses are informational only, may contain errors, and should not be relied upon for safety-critical decisions. The Company is not responsible for outcomes resulting from following AI recommendations. You can flag a Wally response in the App for review.
The App may request access to your device's GPS location to provide navigation features. Navigation location is processed on your device. If you explicitly enable Share My Location, foreground location updates are stored and shared with accepted friends as described in our Privacy Policy. Your last shared location can remain visible with a fading freshness indicator for up to approximately 70 minutes after the latest successful update, including after you stop actively using the App, unless sharing is turned off and that change reaches our server. WallyMate does not request or collect background location for this feature. You may disable device location access or turn off sharing at any time, which will limit certain App functionality.
Friend locations are informational and may be delayed, inaccurate, stale, unavailable, or reflect a device rather than a person's current position. Do not use Friends as an emergency-location, rescue, surveillance, or safety-monitoring service. Do not rely on a friend's displayed location to determine that person is safe or to make navigation or emergency decisions.
All content, design, code, and materials in the App are owned by or licensed to CoreBit Labs, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Map data is provided by Mapbox and subject to Mapbox's terms of service.
The App integrates third-party services including Mapbox (mapping), Supabase (database), and Anthropic (AI). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COREBIT LABS, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF LIFE, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS, OR DATA LOSS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $10.00 (TEN DOLLARS) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO ALL CAUSES OF ACTION IN THE AGGREGATE.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CoreBit Labs, LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your negligence or willful misconduct on the water.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Wyoming under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note the effective date at the top of this document.

WallyMate is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or completeness of data provided by third parties. Weather and lake conditions data should not be solely relied upon for navigation or safety decisions.

CoreBit Labs, LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates the WallyMate mobile web application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
Location data: With your permission, the App accesses your device's GPS location to provide navigation and distance features. Navigation location is processed on your device. If you explicitly turn on Share My Location, WallyMate sends foreground location updates to Supabase so accepted friends can see whether you are on or near the lake. A timestamped location may remain visible with a fading indicator for up to approximately 70 minutes after the last update. WallyMate does not collect location in the background for this feature. Turning sharing off marks the server record as not sharing and clears its coordinates. Location data included in AI queries is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your response.
Friends, blocking, and reports: Friend codes, pending and accepted connections, boat profile details, and your block list are stored to provide Friends features. Accepted friends may see your display name, boat profile, sharing status, and eligible last shared location. If you report another user, we store the report reason, optional details, the involved account identifiers, timestamps, and moderation status. Reports are available to the reporting user and authorized WallyMate administrators for review; the reported user cannot read the report. Blocking removes the friendship and prevents new requests until you unblock that user.
Flagged Wally responses: If you flag an AI response, we store the response text, your selected reason, optional details, your account identifier, timestamps, and moderation status so authorized WallyMate administrators can review it.
Saved spots: Locations you save are stored in our database associated with your account.
Usage and diagnostics data: We collect account-linked event names, platform, app release, a random per-session identifier, feature context, timing, and coarse GPS accuracy or mode outcomes to understand feature use, monitor release health, and diagnose failures. These analytics do not include your precise coordinates, friend coordinates, Wally message text, report details, or saved-spot coordinates, but they can be associated with your WallyMate account.
Communications: If you contact us, we retain that correspondence.
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the App; (b) authenticate and secure your account; (c) sync saved spots and profile settings; (d) provide friend connections and optional foreground location sharing; (e) investigate user reports and flagged AI responses, enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, and protect users; (f) respond to support requests; (g) send important service updates (not marketing without consent); and (h) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
We retain account information, saved spots, friend relationships, profile information, and blocks while needed to provide the service or until the account or relevant record is deleted. While Friends location sharing is enabled, the latest location replaces the prior location record; locations older than approximately 70 minutes are not made available to friends. Turning sharing off disables the record and clears its coordinates after that request successfully reaches our server.
We retain user reports, flagged Wally responses, and moderation records for as long as reasonably necessary to investigate concerns, improve safety, enforce our Terms, document actions, prevent repeated abuse, and meet legal obligations. These records may outlast a friendship or block. Account deletion removes account-linked data according to our database deletion process, except information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or abuse-prevention purposes. Anonymized or aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately.
You may: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and associated data; opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at wallymateapp@gmail.com or use the account deletion feature in the App.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination. We do not sell personal information. To submit a CCPA request, contact wallymateapp@gmail.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
